Vespa: "Pedal-less"
Two-wheel transportation has traditionally been male-dominated. However, spotting an opportunity to shift this paradigm, the "Pedal-Less" campaign for Vespa addresses the specific challenges of driving in heels, promising safer, more comfortable rides without the hassle of changing shoes. This concept redefines Vespa as more than just transportation; it becomes an essential accessory for style-conscious young adults seeking elegance and convenience in their urban travels.

Creating these print ads from scratch challenged my Illustrator skills and remains a proud achievement. The animated, individualized ads represent diverse "characters", showcasing Vespa's appeal to varied styles and personalities.
Vespa X Louboutin Campaign Extension
Expanding from the "Pedal-Less" campaign, the Vespa X Louboutin collaboration seamlessly combines two high-end brands. As the second print ad highlighted "red carpet ready" arrival with the iconic Louboutin "red bottom" heels, it felt natural to extend that idea through elevated pieces. Our limited-time collection includes accessories like helmets and gloves with red details, mirroring Louboutin's iconic style.
This Vespa X Louboutin tag for the exclusive pieces captures the elevated feel of the campaign, signifying the essence of chic sophistication and exclusivity in our limited-time collection.
Using AI (Adobe Firefly), I aimed to showcase how this collaboration would appear in a pop-up shop setting. The pop-up, situated in a bustling New York shopping area during the holiday season, features Vespas and exclusive accessories for purchase, complemented by branded displays throughout the shop.
Video Storyboard
What better way to showcase the essence of the "Pedal-Less" campaign than through a comparison? For this storyboard, two women arrive at an exclusive event. One walks in effortlessly, while the other struggles, needing to change into her heels. This vividly captures how riding a Vespa not only grants easy parking but ensures you arrive confident and "red carpet ready." Check out the shot-list below for the video advertisement execution.
Sketch Phase
We combined two of our initial sketches to merge glamour and functionality. These thumbnails feature a woman turning heads with her chic look while on her Vespa, while the second thumbnail shows the convenience of riding in heels without needing driving shoes. The tagline "Pedal-Less" promotes a chic and confident ride that prioritizes both style and safety.
